The little things in life

I was trying to get my kids to sleep a while ago, and was getting a little bit irritated, because Kennadee finds every way possible not to lay down, so i was laying down with them, and my anger was starting to pile up...then all the sudden Kennadee put her little arms around my neck and says "Mommy...I WUB YOU!!" Something about her little voice and those words that just makes your heart melt, and just cancels out all the naughtiness and time outs during the day! I was looking at my girls and seeing how much they are growing! It was yesterday I swear that we were living in Rock Springs, and had just had Kallie, and now i turn around and she is starting pre-school in August! I dunno where the time went! She is slowly starting to be a little less naughty and a lot more independent, ok a lot more independent! I was thinking of her going to school and I remember going to pre-school when I was little! We would always be so excited to get there, and we would always line up at the door and wait for it to be unlocked and we would race in there, and it was a race to see who would get to play and ride in the big yellow dump truck! I think those were some of my first memories of school, I guess it's kinda sad that Kallie is old enough now to start remembering things and making those little memories of her own! Before, the things we have done I think were more for our memories, but now she is starting to make her own!
And then there's my little Kennadee who is close to two and she knows it! ha ha, She spends most of her day being threatened with time out! (it works very very well for her, until the next five minutes) but she is starting to grow so fast, and starting to become a little more independent as well! I certainly have my hands full with her right now! She is my little climber and climbs on anything and everything! a chair at the table, she is on the table, standing on the edge wanting me to catch her as she jumps off! A chair by the computer desk, she is on the desk, kissing our computer screen! A chair by the counter, she's on the counter exploring what on top! She loves drinks...ok she loves to pour drinks! If there is a glass left on the table with ice in it! The ice is on the floor within 5 seconds! If there are two cups on the table, she pours them into each other until I take them away or she ends up spilling so much there is nothing left in either of them! She has starting talking like crazy too, saying three and four words together. She has a lot of words down that we say on a regular basis... mommy, daddy, sissy, Tal (Kallie), Tant (Tank) babba (bottle) ippy (sippy) papa, mama (grandma) pepper, hello, bubbye, hi, NO!, Ya, uh oh, ball, backpack (Dora is her all time favorite thing EVER) blues clues, wow wow wubbzy, ilk (milk), puppy, Titty (kitty of course) Tat (cat) car, truck, airplane...I think the list would go on and on, but I don't have that much energy to list them all...I remember my mom telling me..."Kristin, when you have kids, you cherish every moment, because before you know it, you'll turn around and they'll be graduating from high school or getting married" I always use to think..ya ya...20 years kinda goes by slow, but I have my little girls now, and I am turning around and they are already getting big, I know some of you out there reading this are like..oh ya ya, you're oldest is only 3 I have kids way way older, but to me, 3 is a big deal at the moment! ha ha, Its fun to watch them grow up, but it is sad to let them grow up also! I am so just thankful that I have my two girls they bring me so much happiness, I dunno what I would do without them! I am excited to have another one on the way and to meet the new addition to our family!

Afternoon in the mountains

On sunday after church we decided to take a drive up to the mountains! We hadn't been up there yet this year, so we packed a lunch and drove up there! We had a lot of fun and the girls absolutely love the mountains, I think they like the most that they get to water the flowers and grass with their pee. ha ha (So lady like I know) we weren't up there for fifteen minutes and they were already dirty, but what do you expect!? On the way up there also, some retard was hearding his sheep down the middle of the road and had no desire to move them, it took us at least 20 minutes to get through,the girls loved it though and I guess it was kinda fun so I had to take a few pictures! We got home and our car was loaded with sheep poop...yummy! Here are some pictures from our little afternoon in the mountain though!






Wyoming Traffic Jam

It happened again! :)

okay, so I guess it's time I blog about this, I am pregnant! goodness! ha ha. I am due in February, which shouldn't be too much of a shocker because both my other girls are born in February also! crazy huh? Three birthdays in February, I'm gonna be broke! anyway...it's pretty exciting, but then again, three makes me nervous! This pregnancy so far has been completely different from my other two! I was sick non stop with my girls the whole nine months, usually there wasn't a day that passed that I wasn't throwing my guts up! now in the morning I am very very sick, and then again very very sick at night. During the day, I feel like my big guts are eating my little guts, I feel like I haven't eaten in years. So I eat, and usually eating would take away this weird feeling on any other normal (non pregnacy) day, but now it just makes it worse? So, does that mean anything? Leaning towards a boy or still another girl!? I would absolutely love to have another girl, because I'm partial to girls, and frankly I'm not so sure a little boy would survive in the house! jk, I think a boy would be a lot of fun too. I guess I'm not really too picky to what this new one will be. anyway...I find out in a couple weeks what the baby is,I am very excited to find out, because I don't even have a intuition of what it'll be!! any ideas? ha ha.

These are just a few pictures that we took in our cemetary here in Evanston, I think it's so cool to live in a place where you can see this kinda stuff on a daily basis, there was a moose a couple years ago in our yard, and then usually there is one that hangs out in the walmart parking lot, well, there is some ponds right by them and the moose usually hung out there, but was in the parking lot from time to time! I dunno if these are the same ones or not, but I thought i'd go take some pictures..sorry if they aren't the best, they are from my cell phone, because again, my batteries died on my digital camera! Nothing makes me more angry, okay maybe there is some things, but that still ticks me off!

4th of July

K...I apologize..i have absolutely no pictures of anything from this weekend..I could kick myself! anyway...we did have very fun! We had lots of family come over to watch the fireworks in Evanston! Evanston goes crazy for the fourth..it is legal to shoot fireworks here on the 3rd and 4th, and it is so fun! Seriously, all of our neighbors, actually the whole town usually puts on a better display than the city does, so its lots of fun. Then on saturday we went to green river, because we threw his parents an anniversary picnic, the food was so yummy, we fixed ribs, shrimp skewers, Kabobs (spelling), we had pasta salads, and fruit salads, and salad salads, and then cake! it was just so much fun to just kinda pig out! :) then on Sunday, my niece got blessed, she is so stinkin cute! it was a really good blessing! but that was our weekend, it was lots of fun, and again..sorry no pictures!

Shots shots and more shots

I had to take Kennadee in to get her shots today, blah. She had to get three of them, and she wasn't too happy, but I think after the first poke, she got so mad she didn't even feel the other two, but needless to say, we survived! She got her whole well child check-up. She is off the charts in her heighth, she measured 2 ft 9.5 inches, and then she is in the bottom 25th percentile of her weight, I dunno how because she eats like crazy, and then her head is around the 60th- 75 percentile..I think she's gonna be tall!! Kallie absolutely loves going to the doctor now that she is past the shot stages (For a while). I think mostly because they always get a prize and a sucker for being so good (whether they really are or not) and if they are really really sick or get sent to the hospital, our pediatrician gives them a stuffed animal!! She is very very cool!! anyway..I didn't have much to post about today, that was about the high light of our day!!

Our trip to Lovell

I haven't posted a lot lately, I just haven't been in the mood to blog at all, then we went to lovell for a week and a half! We had a lot of fun while we were up there, since i'm still not in a real bloggin mood at the moment I just decided to post some pics..there is some of the girls in the car on the way there, and then we ended up stopping in the canyon for like an hour or so because a dumb semi tipped over, and dumped blue pipes all over the road, they were actually on their way to lovell also to help put in the new water lines or whatever they are doing on the street. i also put up a some pics of the girls in their new dresses that my mom made for them..i couldn't get a descent picture of both of them together, but I got a half way descent one of them in the swing before church. We went to the kiddie pool, but not too many pictures cuz my camera died...I probably would have taken more pictures but when something was happening inside, my camera was in the car, and if we were on our way somewhere I either left it in the house or the stupid thing ran out of batteries..I dunno what's wrong with it, I go through batteries like no other! anyway...I'm kinda grumpy so I'll just leave ya to look at the pictures...we had a lot of fun, and sometimes it's nice to get away for a bit!

Our trip to the zoo

Ghost of the Bayou...a while alligator..he was the coolest thing ever..Kallie thought so too!A cute hair cut...seth kept makin fun of me, because he was worried about taking pictures of all the animals, and I was worried about getting pictures of cute haircuts.! ha ha ha..I got quite a few but I thought maybe I'd just post one..let's hope this girl, doesn't some how come across my blog, and be like....what the? that's me!! ha ha ha...it was such a fun and very warm day!!!!

RIP little tomato plants

So..I'm just gonna vent for a bit..it seems like I haven't had much to blog about lately..all it's done is rain, and be cold, and blah blah blah..ya know those kinda weeks so far...anyway...the girls and I haven't really done anything out of the ordinary..we go on walks, go to walmart, have picnics, clean up toys, play...well..the other day we walked to walmart and I wanted to get some tomato plants, I was very excited to finally plant them, so we got all our tools out and started diggin holes..i was so proud of the cute little plants..Kallie was so excited about them also and asked me "Mom should we get some water to water these little fellas?" ha ha it was the cutest thing ever, but anyway..we got done planting and watering, and came inside to get our hands washed and to start making dinner...in that short amount of time, i looked out our window from the kitchen and couldn't see our tomato plants...MY DANG DOG ATE THEM, and the ones he didn't get to TRAMPLED THEM TO DEATH. I was so ticked, I still am, as lame as it sounds I was so mad I was almost in tears, by almost I mean I had to suck it up and hold them in! ha ha..I am still pretty grumpy about it now, but Tank (our dog) didn't get by without bein in trouble, I dunno if i'll get anymore plants cuz it's getting a little late to plant them now, and its supposed to snow too (GGGRRRR...if it happens it'll be a WHOLE nother post") so needless to say we're going tomato-less for this year, at least from our garden!! Dumb Dog sometimes!! UGH!!!

Blah...sick kids

So....ugh...we have gone this entire winter without hardly being sick well...thanksgiving Kennadee was in the hospital with pnemonia, but other than that, my kids have been so healthy! Well...man..in the middle of stinkin May, it all breaks loose! We all have sore throats, the kids are getting kind of a cough, and to top it off, Kennadee got an ear infection (and she even has tubes in her ears and if she gets one it shouldn't bother her, but it has) and Kallie has a bladder infection! It hit us all at once! I guess it's making up for nothing during the winter. Last winter, my kids switched back and forth...if it wasn't RSV they had Pnemonia, and if it wasn't pnemonia they had RSV or ear infections..it was nuts, i didn't think they'd ever make it through, but they did! but man...i thought we were gonnna have a non sick year! blah!!!!

Scavenger hunt

For FHE tonight I decided to have the girls to a scavenger hunt. I made a list for them and we went in the back yard and out front and looked for the items...I had them find a leaf, a small rock, a big rock, some dirt, grass, a bug, a flower, a tree branch, a cloud and a bird...I gave them a plastic bag and had them put the stuff that they had found inside their bags! (except for the cloud, bug, ya know that kinda stuff) We came back inside and I had them find a picture of Jesus also, then I had them sit down and told them that Jesus created all the stuff that they had found for us to have a beautiful earth! It was so cute! The girls were so interested in the lesson! When I showed Kennadee a picture of Jesus, she looked at it and said plain as day "JESUS". I am so amazed at little children! What a testimony.He lives, he loves the children, and they were truly with him before this earth! I am so amazed that the littlest children know him at such a very very young age! I maybe have showed Kennadee a picture of him once and told her it was Jesus, but if I showed her a picture of some stranger and told her their name she wouldn't remember it in two minutes! Later on after our family home evening, the girls were playing out in the back, and Kallie kept asking me, "Mom can you talk about Jesus again?" They were just so interested in my lesson. Kennadee had found an ant, and was trying to step on it, and Kallie screamed at her and said "NO, JESUS Made that ant for us." ha ha ha. I think finally one time she actually listened to my lesson and remembered it! I am so bless
