Decorating and cutting! YIKES!

I have a couple things to blog about, first things first..we decorated our gingerbread house last night! it was a lot of fun, the girls loved eating the candy...I would put frosting on something and Kennadee would lick it off, YUMMY! :) but we finally got it accomplished! I should take a picture of what it looks like today though, 24 hours later! The girls keep getting up on the counter and taking all the candy off! oh well, it still looks cute! Here are a few pictures!

Okay, now I have to blog about our little incident today, I know i'm gonna look back at this and laugh and I'm kinda laughing about it now, but I wasn't too happy at the moment! I just have to tell the whole story, cuz....I guess I'm gonna need to remember this! We got home from church and the girls were hungry, so I was making them some mac and cheese to hold them over till dinner (couple hours away). I had just poured the macaroni in the pan and Kallie climbed on the counter and got the scissors. I told her no to put them back, but she took off, just then the water started boiling over the pan so I was taking care of that for a second! I walked into the living room and Kallie took one look at me and started bookin it up the stairs with her scissors..I made her give me the scissors and that was kind of the end of the story, I thought maybe she had been cutting pieces off of the Christmas tree..I figured since i had the scissors i wasn't gonna do much about it, just finish making their lunch! so, it was like 1/2 hour later and we were watching a Christmas show on TV, and I looked over by the tree and there was a whole bunch of little piles of something on the floor, they looked black and I couldn't figure it out, I asked Kallie what they were, after explaining to her what I was talking about, she said oh that? That's kennadee's hair!

WHAT????!!???? I picked Kennadee up and sure enough, Kallie had cut her hair! are you kidding me? She had a pony tail on top of her head, and kallie had cut half of it clear down to the hair thing! NICE, REAL NICE. I took Kennadee in the bathroom, and took her hair thing out, half of the side of her head is like 2 1/2 inches long, while the other side, is like 5 inches! NICE again! so I tried evening it out a bit, and it looks better, I immediately tried to put the top in pig tails and it was a success, so I'm not too burned about it now, it doesn't look too bad! I have a few pics on my phone, but they don't do it really justice! I'm just glad she didn't touch the back of her hair, because it is really tight curls, and i'm afraid if we cut them off, they won't grow back curly! that was my adventure for the day! Kennadee is sure proud of her new haircut though! She tells me kallie cut it and it looks pretty! Oh yes, it is darling! ha ha....I'm afraid now that Kennadee is gonna attempt it by herself, because she thinks that's a pretty fun thing to do! I'm throwing away every pair of scissors in our house!

Poop

Okay, so I know every kid sometime go through "bathroom talk" stage (I dunno what else to call it) where they think anything to do with poop or bums, or anything like that is funny. To make a long story short, I didn't think Kennadee would go through it before she was two. kallie really never had a problem with it, but thanks to Kennadee that's all I hear...examples? Sure.
Kennadee what do you want for dinner?
her reply.."poop soup", are you serious? where does someone come up with that (unless it's really what my cooking tastes like)
I ask her...Kennadee what is that?
"Poopy" (spelling)
ok..honestly,
She picks up a barbie doll, takes the clothes off, and tells me that she is poopy.
If she is being too quiet, I ask her where she is, her reply of course is she's pooping...on the toilet? She says so, but can be found in the toy room...hmmmm...no toilet in there...When does this end? I'm not kidding, everything has to do with poop, and that is her answer to everything!
More examples? Sure I have a ton
"Kennadee, where is Tank (our dog)?"
"He's poopin"
I wouldn't put it past him on that one, I've never seen anyone poop so much in my life! (that's awhole nother story)
and last one, if she sees something on the bottom of her shoe, on the wet wipe box (half the time it's marker) or anything else, she replies with "EEEWWWW POOP"
We even mention the word poop and they laugh hysterically! Goodness KIDS!! :)

more family pics

I finally had some patience to wait for my computer to download a couple pictures from our family pics that we had taken! My husband's boss's daughter took them for us! I think they turned out pretty well, she is only a freshman in High school and wants all the practice she can get, she loves photography, and I am very pleased at the pictures we got! Here are just a few of them! I'm not a real big fan of this picture but I had to put it in here so everybody can see our "sweet little innocent" Kennadee! :)

*this is just a side note, but have you ever gone to eat at a Mexican restaurant, and come out smelling like a freakin Chalupa and salsa? we ate at one today for lunch, that is what I smell like right now. BLAH!

What to wish for

We were riding in the car tonight and Kallie was looking out the window trying to find the first couple stars, she finally spotted one and said "Mom, I finally see a star, what are you gonna wish for?"
"I'm gonna wish for my two little girls to be really really nice and kind to each other, so they can get presents for Christmas."
"Mom, you have to wish for toys, you can't wish for nice kids, cuz that's just not gonna happen."

Kallie says

I have been explaining to Kallie the real meaning of Christmas, the whole....Baby Jesus was born, about Bethlehem, and the Star of Bethlehem, and about the wise men coming to bring him gifts and yada yada yada! Anyway....tonight at dinner we sat down to eat, Kallie had helped me make Hot potato salad, ham and rolls...We were eating and just talking and Kallie turns to me and said....
"Mom, Kennadee isn't being a very big girl"
I said to her "Yes she is, why do you say that?"
She replies "Because she hasn't eaten ANY of her Bethlehem."

HELP!!!

Okay, i have to do sharing time on Sunday, and my topic is my body is a temple!! Does anybody have any ideas that I can do for an activity and stuff for my sharing time!?!?! HELP!

Who you callin COLORED Folks??

Okay, i had to post this, because I think it is just so funny...This was written by a black guy in Texas. How do people come up with these things? Talk about creativity!!!!

When I was born, I was BLACK

When I grew up, I was BLACK ,

When I went in the sun, I stayed BLACK,

When I got cold, I was BLACK ,

When I was scared, I was BLACK ,

When I was sick, I was BLACK ,

And when I die, I'll still be BLACK .

NOW, You 'white' folks....

When you're born, you're PINK,

When you grow-up, you're WHITE ,

When you go in the sun, you get RED,

When you're cold, you turn BLUE,

When you're scared, you're YELLOW,

When you get sick, you're GREEN,

When you bruise, you turn PURPLE ,

And when you die, you look GRAY.

So who y'all callin' COLORED folks?

Just Wondering

I was just wondering, does anybody else's house get outta control messy, but it seems like it is everyday? The kids won't hardly help you pick up, unless there is somthing good in return or a pretty major threat? I think i'm the only one...like I said..just wondering!

Halloween time

I have no idea what order these pictures are in, cuz I can't see them when I download them, but anyway...here is our halloween pictures! I've been kinda lazy and decided it was about time I'd post them, or it's gonna be Thanksgiving, and then it'd be kinda gay to post them then...anyway...the girls were set on being princesses and I wasn't going to argue. We decided to go to Green River and did the stake trunk-or-treat with his family! the girls had a lot of fun, and Kennadee was busy snacking on candy, once she was done with one peice she kept walking with us, but once someone put another piece in her bag she would sit down and try and find the piece of candy they had put in there. I finally ended up carrying her and gave her a big sucker that I know would last until we were done! Kallie had a lot of fun, most the time she remembered to say trick-or-treat, and Kennadee never forgot, and always ended it with a Tank-chew (thank you). It was so cute. It turned out really well, and it was so nice outside..I was glad the girls didn't have to trudge around in High heels in a ton of snow!!
